Kaltimtoday.co - Academy Awards ke-96 akan kembali digelar. Ajang penghargaan bergengsi ini akan diadakan di Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood pada Minggu, 10 Maret 2024. Pembawa acara dan produser televisi, Jimmy Kimmel akan kembali memandu acara prestisius ini. 

Menjelang penghargaan bergengsi ini, daftar nominasi Oscar 2024 telah diumumkan. Film 'Oppenheimer' memimpin daftar dengan 13 nominasi. Keberhasilan ini tidak mengherankan, mengingat film yang dibintangi oleh Cillian Murphy ini telah meraih delapan nominasi di Golden Globe.

Di belakang 'Oppenheimer', film 'Poor Things' mengejar dengan 11 nominasi, diikuti oleh 'Killers of the Flower Moon' dengan 10 nominasi, dan 'Barbie' dengan delapan nominasi.
