Kaltimtoday.co - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Hadi Tjahjanto, has presented three Land Management Rights (Hak Pengelolaan Lahan - HPL) certificates, covering a total area of 34,000 hectares, to the National Capital Integrated Coastal Area (Ibu Kota Nusantara - IKN) Authority. The symbolic handover took place at Mercure Samarinda Hotel on Thursday (03/08/2023), with Deputy Head of the IKN Authority, Dhony Rahajoe, receiving the certificates.

"We have handed over three certificates to the IKN authority, covering 34,000 hectares of land," stated Minister Hadi Tjahjanto.

In addition to the three HPL certificates, Minister Hadi also delivered 6 land acquisition documents out of the targeted 12 land acquisition packages for IKN. He emphasized that the remaining six documents are currently in process and are expected to be completed soon.

The handover of the HPL certificates and land acquisition documents reflects the commitment and seriousness of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in providing legal certainty for the land in the IKN region. This aligns with the directive of Indonesian President Joko Widodo, which mandates three crucial points to be addressed by the Ministry of ATR/BPN: the acceleration of the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) for 126 million parcels, the resolution of overlapping land issues, disputes, and land mafia problems, as well as assistance in resolving spatial planning and land acquisition in IKN.

"We have executed the third point, which includes the handover of certificates and land acquisition documents. Previously, we have also submitted 9 detailed spatial planning plans for IKN, signed by the head of the authority," explained Minister Hadi.

Regarding the certificate handover, Minister Hadi also urged the Deputy Head of the IKN Authority to promptly complete the conversion of two certificates owned by PSSI and Bank Indonesia into Building Use Rights (Hak Guna Bangunan - HGB).

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the IKN Authority, Dhony Rahajoe, expressed appreciation for the performance of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in accelerating the development of IKN. Dhony also revealed that there are private sector businesses ready to undertake projects in the IKN area, such as Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS), a 4-star hotel by Vasanta Group, International Hermina Hospital, and various other projects.

In addition to handing over HPL certificates for IKN, the Ministry of ATR/BPN also awarded Land Use Rights (Hak Pakai) certificates to the National Border Management Agency for the Border Crossing Point (PLBN) on Sebatik Island. They also handed over 65 Building Use Rights (Hak Guna Bangunan - HGB) certificates to PT PLN (Persero) in Kalimantan. Furthermore, several asset certificates were also given to local governments in East Kalimantan, including 7 certificates for Balikpapan City Government, 3 certificates for Samarinda City Government, and 2 certificates for Kutai Kartanegara Regency.
